About Damon C. Davis
Damon C. Davis is a seasoned psychiatric nurse, ordained minister, published author, healthcare instructor, and gospel choir director whose life sits at the intersection of healing, faith, and purpose. With nearly 40 years of experience in healthcare, he has walked alongside hundreds of patients and families navigating some of life's most difficult moments.
A lifelong learner and teacher, Damon has mentored aspiring healthcare professionals, served as an instructor for CNA students, and directed the New York Presbyterian Hospital Gospel Choir. He is an associate pastor and Sunday school superintendent in COGIC, and the founder of several entrepreneurial ventures that integrate wellness, music, ministry, and practical wisdom to empower personal transformation.
His books span a remarkable range — from mental health recovery to faith and finances, from family legacy to everyday health habits — reflecting a life lived fully across multiple domains of service. Whether he is caring for a patient, leading worship, teaching a class, or writing a book, Damon brings the same commitment: tell the truth, meet people where they are, and walk with them toward where they're called to be.
He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Arvita, and remains a pillar in his local community, guided by gratitude, resilience, and an unshakeable calling to help others thrive beyond survival.
